Guaranteed snow cover and a 160 km Franco-Italian ski area

Winter landscape of the Espace San Bernardo, snow-covered forests and mountain peaks
  • Ranked 6th most attractive resort among more than 200 French ski resorts in Le Figaro's 2018 rankings (criteria: exceptional snow cover, extent of the Franco-Italian ski area, lift pass prices and skiing difficulty).
  • The most Italian of the French resorts, with a 160 km ski area, the Espace San Bernardo, straddling France and Italy.
  • Guaranteed snow cover from early December to late April, across an area situated between 1850 and 2800 m altitude: La Rosière's privileged location, straddling the Col du Petit Saint-Bernard, allows it to capture the first high-altitude snowfalls.
  • A resort where you finish your day's skiing bathed in sunshine, thanks to unique sunshine levels throughout the Tarentaise valley.
  • An extraordinary change of scenery, punctuated by the culture and gastronomy of the Val d'Aoste (Italy) and Savoie (France).
  • Pistes for all levels: gentle slopes that make learning to ski easy and enjoyable, through to steeper runs for those seeking a thrill.
  • A resort for families, with a personalised welcome and activities suited to everyone.
  • Gastronomy: its location between Savoie (France) and the Val d'Aoste (Italy) makes for a genuine gourmet holiday! Discover Savoyard specialities (raclette, fondue, tartiflette…) or Italian ones (pizza, pasta, fontina…) in the resort or straight on the pistes.
  • Thanks to the proximity of Italy, the possibility of a helicopter drop-off on the most beautiful Italian peaks for off-piste enthusiasts.
